The al-Ahli Hospital was housing hundreds of ‘sick’, ‘wounded’ and ‘forcibly displaced’ folks when it was attacked, Hamas has claimed. The Israeli navy blamed the explosion on Islamic Jihad, a smaller, more radical Palestinian militant group that often co-operates with Hamas in their shared battle towards Israel. In a press conference at al-Shifa docs stood in a sea of dead children who had been brought from the stricken hospital, holding some of their faces to the cameras to indicate the horror that had befallen them. Hellish video taken from the hospital, which was sheltering around 6,000 Palestinians and is funded by the Anglican Church, exhibits fireplace engulfing the constructing and the dozens of our bodies strewn over the bottom, many of them young kids. The huge explosion tore through the al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza City on Tuesday evening while it was getting used to deal with and shelter thousands of civilians amid the continued conflict. The navy order affects communities within 1.2 miles of the border.
